In 1975 italian designer Giorgio Armani with a Sergio Galleotti created a company GIORGIO ARMANI s.p.a.. At the end of XX century, company become on of the biggest in the fashion industry.
Sir Armani was one of the first in high fashion's world who started to segment his brend - mens and womens clothes and footwear, accessories, watches, jewelry and home goods are branding by Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, Armani USA, Armani Jeans, Armani Junior, Armani Casa etc. Perfums are produced with the concern L'Oreal Paris.
In 1979 was created Armani Collezioni, in 1981 - Emporio Armani, which was designed for a young and active auditory. Armani Exchange, which was created in 1991, designed for a mass-market.
In 1987 was launched the line of ophtalmic frames and sunglasses Armani Occhiali. In 1994 company started to make clothes for skiing. In 1996 was created collection for winter sports (Armani Neve), for golf and the line Armani Classico. In 2000 was launched the line with goods for home, Armani Casa.
